C. Synergistic Activities
(i) Established and lead a research center studying space plasma, solar physics, fusion plasma, plasma propulsion and microwave technology at Prairie View A&M University
(ii) Built the Prairie View Solar Observatory in 1998 and maintained continuously a daily observation.
(iii) Estalished a fusion plasma lab, and initiated alarge power microwave lab and a plasma propulsion lab.
(iv) Participated as a scientist member in NASA/New Millennium Program/Space Technology 5 Program team for science.
(v) As principal investigator acquired more than twenty scientific research funding awards from NSF (5), NASA (8), DOE (7), Air Force (4), and Army Research Lab (1).
(vi)Had four times being invited asproposal’s penal reviewer member for NSF and DOE.
(vii) Invited to review large number of proposals for NSF, NASA, and Department of Energy.
(viii) Guided more than ten young scientists working in different scientific fields.
(ix) Trained more than one hundred graduated and under graduate students with research.experiences in space science, solar observation, and fusion plasma physics.
